What every gutter estimate needs
- Your business name, contact details and license number
- Estimate number, date and how long the price is valid
- Clear options (good, better, best) with what each includes
- Warranty terms and any permit or inspection fees
- Deposit required, if any
- A place for the customer to approve and sign
Pricing gutter work
- Price cleaning per linear foot with adjustments for stories, roof pitch, debris load and access, or as a flat price by home size band. Set a minimum ticket so small jobs still cover the trip.
- Price installs from material cost per foot (gutter coil, hangers, downspouts, end caps, outlets, miters), plus crew hours at your loaded rate, plus margin. Measure; don't eyeball.
- Quote guards as a separate line or option so the customer can compare cleaning plans against a one-time guard install.
- Charge for downspouts, extensions and underground drain connections per piece rather than burying them in the footage price.
