What every pool service invoice needs
- Your business name, address, phone and license number
- Invoice number, date and due date
- Customer name, billing address and service address
- A line for every service, part and fee, with quantity and rate
- Tax, total, payments received and balance due

Pricing pool service work
- Weekly service price per month = (minutes on site + share of drive time) ÷ 60 × labor rate × visits per month (52 ÷ 12 ≈ 4.33), plus chemicals if included.
- If chemicals are included, add the expected monthly chemical cost marked up to your margin: chemical price = cost ÷ (1 − target margin). Review pools that run well over the expected cost.
- Chemicals billed separately protect margin when pools vary a lot. Bill them as used, at a set markup, with readings and doses on the visit record.
- Tier the service price by what drives time: pool size, attached spa, heavy tree cover, water features, and screened vs. open pools.
