What every pest control invoice needs
- Your business name, address, phone and license number
- Invoice number, date and due date
- Customer name, billing address and service address
- A line for every service, part and fee, with quantity and rate
- Tax, total, payments received and balance due
- Payment terms and how to pay
Pricing pest control work
- Price the initial and recurring services separately. Initial = expected time (interior, exterior, cleanout) × labor rate + materials + overhead share. Recurring = time per visit × labor rate + materials + a stop charge for drive and setup.
- Annual plan value = initial + (recurring price × visits per year). Present it to yourself this way even if the customer pays per visit, because that is what one sale is worth.
- Scale by property size or complexity with tiers (e.g. by square footage bands or lot size) rather than one flat price, so larger homes don't erode margin.
- Price termite liquid treatments from the linear feet of foundation you'll treat × your rate per linear foot (built from product and labor), and bait systems from station count plus monitoring. Price the annual renewal separately.
