ServiceTitan Marketing Pro alternatives

ServiceTitan Marketing Pro explained: what it does, what it costs, the break-even math, and alternatives for each part (email, postcards, reviews, ads).

ServiceTitan Marketing Pro is five tools in one add-on: audience lists from your ServiceTitan data, email campaigns, postcards, review and listing management, and a Google Ads optimizer. ServiceTitan doesn't publish its monthly price. So the useful question isn't "what replaces Marketing Pro" but "which of the five parts do you actually use, and what does each one cost to replace."

This page takes Marketing Pro apart using ServiceTitan's own product pages, puts a break-even number on it, and lists the alternatives for each part along with what you give up. It's part of our contractor CRM guides.

What Marketing Pro includes, from ServiceTitan's pages

Here's what ServiceTitan says each part does, in its own words where it matters. Everything in this table comes from ServiceTitan's Marketing Pro pages, checked on October 15, 2026.

PartWhat ServiceTitan says it doesPublished price
AudiencesBuilds audiences from ServiceTitan customer data, such as unsold estimates or expiring memberships, and updates them automatically12Not published
EmailTemplates and automated campaigns; "ties each email campaign to individual jobs and revenue"2Not published
Direct mailAutomated postcard campaigns from customer data (unsold estimates, aging equipment) and prospect lists by property data; job-level attribution3$0.79 to $0.89 per postcard, by size3
ReputationSends review requests by text or email after a job is completed; keeps listings consistent across 60+ sites; links each review to the customer, job and technician4Not published
Ads (Ads Optimizer)Feeds ServiceTitan audience and revenue data into Google Ads; available only on the Marketing Pro full suite package5Not published

ServiceTitan also claims customers have seen close rates on unsold estimates rise "as high as 10%."1 That's a vendor claim, without a published method, so treat it as a ceiling to test rather than an expected result.

What it costs

ServiceTitan's pricing page shows "Request Pricing" for Starter, Essentials and The Works, and Marketing Pro appears only as a link under the Pro products.6 The Marketing Pro pages offer a demo, not a price.1

The only public estimate we could verify on October 15, 2026 comes from QuoteIQ, a field service software vendor that competes with ServiceTitan. It lists Marketing Pro at "~$2,000+/month (estimated)."7 That's a third-party estimate, not a ServiceTitan figure, and your quote may be higher or lower. Postcards are billed per piece on top.

The break-even math

Before you renew, or before you replace it, work out what Marketing Pro has to produce to pay for itself. The only fair way to count is incremental: revenue from customers who wouldn't have called you anyway. Customers on a "maintenance due" list book with you every year whether they get a postcard or not.

Example (hypothetical, using the third-party estimate). Say the add-on costs $2,000 a month and you mail 2,500 postcards a quarter at $0.79 each. Your gross margin on the work these campaigns produce averages 45%.

Incremental revenue needed to break even (example)

Add-on: $2,000 × 12 = $24,000 · Postcards: 2,500 × 4 × $0.79 = $7,900 · Total: $31,900 ÷ 45% margin ≈ $70,900 of extra invoiced revenue a year

At an average replacement ticket of, say, $9,000, that's about eight extra replacements a year that wouldn't have happened without the campaigns. That may be easy for a 30-tech shop and hard for an 8-tech one. To know which you are, hold out a random 15% to 20% of each audience, contact the rest, and compare sold revenue after 90 days. Our post on marketing with your own job history explains the holdout method.

Alternatives, part by part

Here's the replacement for each part, and the honest cost of the swap.

Marketing Pro partAlternativeWhat you give up
AudiencesServiceTitan report exports to a spreadsheet, refreshed before each sendLive lists; someone has to pull and clean them
EmailA general email tool (Mailchimp, Constant Contact and similar) fed by exportsAutomatic job and revenue attribution; you tag campaigns and match jobs yourself
Direct mailA local printer or mail house; USPS Every Door Direct Mail for route-based dropsPer-piece price comparison is on you; tracking needs a campaign phone number or code per drop
ReputationYour Google review link sent by text or email after each job; a listings tool if you need many sitesReview-to-technician matching; one inbox for responses
Ads OptimizerGoogle Ads offline conversion import, using the click id captured with each leadThe setup work; someone has to export and upload conversions or connect a tool that does

Two of these deserve detail.

Reviews. Google's own help page says customers can leave reviews by visiting a Google link or scanning a QR code, and that offering incentives for reviews is prohibited.8 A text with your review link after every completed job covers most of what a small shop needs. Our reviews hub covers the request workflow.

Google Ads. Offline conversion import lets you "measure what happens in the offline world after your ad results in a click or call," in Google's words.9 It needs the Google click id saved with the lead and a job outcome to send back. The offline conversion tracking guide walks through it.

Four ways to replace it

1. Stay on ServiceTitan, replace Marketing Pro with exports

The cheapest path. Pull audiences from ServiceTitan reports, send email from a general tool and mail from a printer. Our ServiceTitan export guide shows where the reports live.

Watch two things. Unsubscribes: the FTC requires email opt-outs to be honored within 10 business days, so every unsubscribe in your email tool has to make it back to ServiceTitan before the next export.10 And automation: ServiceTitan's Zapier integration requires the Works or Legacy package.11 On other packages, the round trip is manual.

2. Hand it to an agency or a marketing platform

An agency, or a marketing platform such as TradesForce, can run the campaigns. The question to ask is what data they need from ServiceTitan and how they'll report results: by booked and completed jobs, or by clicks and opens. If the answer is clicks, you've lost the one thing Marketing Pro did well.

3. Move to a field service platform with cheaper marketing

Some platforms sell marketing as a smaller add-on. Jobber lists a Marketing Suite at $99 a month.12 Housecall Pro lists Campaigns as an add-on without a published price.13 Switching your whole field system to save on a marketing add-on rarely pays by itself. Weigh it only if you're already unhappy with the core platform; the ServiceTitan alternatives page compares the platforms, and our CRM for contractors framework helps score them.

4. Do the two parts that matter by hand

For many 5 to 15 tech shops, two campaigns carry most of the value: unsold estimate follow-up and aging-equipment replacement offers. Both can run from a monthly list, a phone call and a postcard, with a campaign tag on every resulting job. Start there, measure against a holdout, and buy software only when the manual version has proven the revenue.

Which alternative fits

Review requests onlyYour Google review link by text after each jobFree, and it's the method Google's help page describes

How to measure it from your jobs

Whichever way you go, measure campaigns from invoices. These three numbers work for Marketing Pro and every alternative, so you can compare them fairly.

Metric

Incremental sold revenue per campaign

What the campaign added beyond what the same customers would have bought anyway.

(Sold revenue per contacted customer − sold revenue per holdout customer) × contacted customers

Where the numbers come from: Random holdout of 15% to 20% of the audience; sold revenue from invoices 90 days after the send.

Metric

Cost per completed job, by campaign

What each finished job from a campaign cost you, including software, postage and printing.

Campaign cost (software share + postage + printing) ÷ completed jobs tagged to the campaign

Where the numbers come from: Campaign tag on the job, completed status, and your bills for the period.

Metric

Review request rate

The share of completed jobs where the customer was asked for a review. The thing you control, unlike how many people actually post.

Completed jobs with a review request sent ÷ completed jobs

Where the numbers come from: Job completion and the request log from whichever tool sends them.

Where TradesWork fits

TradesWork builds marketing lists from your own records (unsold estimates, memberships expiring, maintenance due, lapsed customers, equipment over a set age, ZIPs) and only includes contacts with recorded marketing consent. Phone lines can carry a campaign, so calls from a mailer count against that mailer, and the channel report shows booked, completed and collected revenue by channel. It doesn't send marketing email, texts or postcards yet: you build the list in TradesWork and send it through your email tool, printer or marketing partner. If you're weighing a full switch, the CRM for HVAC companies page lists the records to check before you move.
